They both decide to spend the summer by knowing each other better. A sequel to the 1st one its about Camp Rock who are up against another camp called Camp Star of course the two clash together and they dance and sing to see who is the best. Camp Star is shown to have a stage, a main building which can be seen when the campers are going to the Camp Star Bonfire, and a piano suspended over the lake, which Dana Turner uses and Nate usually spies on her when she plays. The film was received 40% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, higher than the predecessor's (20% rating). Camp Star is more glamorous than Camp Rock, is for the more "serious" performers as Luke Williams puts it, and Mitchie Torres from Camp Rock (the rival camp) states its a "Narcisstic Ego Factory.". He decides to sing instead and goes to Camp Star to serenade her ("Introducing Me"), gaining her affection, before being caught by Axel, who is her father. ![]() ![]() However, it became the most watched cable television of the week, as well as the number 1 scripted cable television. The film also includes the Extended Edition, the special feature Rock Along Edition and the Combo Pack, all available on DVD.
